From online to offline – are, in modern times like right now, simply the most beautiful stories. Thanks to Instagram, I have met some of the people I do follow, first online and then in real life. Most time it started wich was a nice exchange, sometimes good tips for travel or restaurants or just a friendly hello. How nice, if you then manage to see the other person you’ve known just from an account and through pictures, live and in color.
Simon Larsen is Art Director and lives with his family outside of Copenhagen. He drives his bike to work every day and deliberately chooses another route to get to his office. In these ways he always find new corners of this beautiful city, good cafes and restaurants and does share them on Instagram
For some time I follow Simon on this channel. I like his picture style, share the same love for good coffee, beautiful place and house facades So I became curious and wanted to know what drives him. As far as photography is concerned, Simon is a self-taught artist. On his site you can find an excerpt of his recordings and can convince himself of his passion for photography. On a short trip to Copenhagen, I met Simon for some coffee and had his afternoon spent in Copenhagen. Meeting point and first flat white was in the Meat Packing district at Prolog Coffee Bar. The second stop we made at the Ground floor Christianshaven and strolled through the open city Christiania. And because the afternoon was just too short to get to know Copenhagen completely, I spent the next few days to follow his path to at least see a few more of Simon’s favorites.
